I was pretty proud to earn the top damage in the basin tonight. Even though the alliance had 2 players with the top damage, we still lost. Imagine that...

It was my first time experiencing a Wintergrasp battle. The alliance managed to fill up 2 raids...but we still lost....hmmmmm. But heres a picture of most of the alliance members about to go into the portal
In one of the BG's....I had the most fun that I had in all of the game.
ReplyDeleteWe were in the basin...and I was leading the alliance team. I told them that defense was the key to winning after we controlled 3 points on the map. We were winning for the longest time until the horde made a huge surge to get the farm. There were only 3 of defending the farm...so the horde took it pretty easy.
So after the three ressed...I led them to the gold mine, where an epic battle begun. It was me (a DK), a druid, and a pally fighting about 8 horde. I wish I wrote these guys' names down, because this would have been a great 3v3 arena team. We killed all 8 of the horde with ease, however, the horde that we killed were ressing at the graveyard just 20 feet from us. So it was an ongoing battle of us trying to take the mine and the horde protecting it. Everytime we would try to take the point...the horde would ress up...we would kill them...but another wave of horde would ress. This went on for about 15 minutes until finally the horde won the match, but probably the best 15 minutes of my wow playing time...it was just a nonstop fight.
Side note: alliance does great taking points in the basin...i would actually say that we are pretty good at it. But it means nothing if we can't be on defense and defend them...thats why we lose so many matches. Oh well...
For all his talk, Mylli told me he was afraid of this one Warlock in the BG. He got to the point that he would run away upon seeing him. I would like to point out that the top damage dealer for the horde was a Warlock ... A LVL 70 WARLOCK!!! : )
